Welcome to J. B. Weyel Ministries. Our desire is to glorify God through the proclamation of the gospel both in preaching and teaching as well as through the testimony of lives changed by His Word.

Our purpose is to honor the name of Jesus Christ through worship and to labor for the advancement of His Kingdom as directed by the Holy Spirit. We desire to know him through the study of His word as contained in the Old and New Testaments, and to equip the saints of God through biblical instruction and the testimony of transformed lives.

As the Holy Spirit has opened up doors of opportunity for our family to minister to His saints in the Kingdom of Cambodia, we have committed ourselves and our family to pursuing that calling. We invite you to join with us in prayer for this work and for the ministry of the word in every land.

Our Belief:

We believe in the Sovereign God: God the Father, God the Son, and God the Holy Spirit, who actively rules and reigns in heaven and on the earth.

We believe in the inerrancy of the Holy Bible and that it is the inspired and preserved word of God.

We believe that the purpose of the church is to give witness to the love of God through active ministry to those who are in need, and to reveal the mystery of God's will through obedience to His commands.

Who We Are:

Elder Joseph Weyel is a Pastor and Minister of the Gospel.  He is originally from San Antonio, Texas, USA where he has lived until May of 2009. 

Joseph began serving as pastor of Luling Primitive Baptist Church in January of 2007 during which time the Lord opened the door of ministry to Vietnam, and later to Cambodia.

Rachel Weyel is a second generation homeschooling mother of four whose is committed to bringing up her children in the nurture and admonition of the Lord through a blend of educational resources and a lifestyle of faith.

Rachel has faithfully supported her husband in his ministry and continues to bring valuable insight and counsel to every decision and avenue of ministry.

Joseph and Rachel were married in 1999 and have been blessed with six children born in 2000, 2001, 2002, 2005, 2010, and 2012 respectively. 

In January 2009, Joseph and Rachel committed to relocate their family to Siem Reap, Cambodia in an effort to assist in the ministry of the Word among the Khmer Christians and to coordinate the supply of materials and finances for orphanages and humanitarian projects around Siem Reap and Kampong Thom provinces in cooperation with Pure Religion Ministries.

Since returning to San Antonio in 2010, Joseph and Rachel have continued their involvement in the work in Cambodia through internet outreach and regular return visits to encourage and support the work. Joseph has re-engaged in a preaching ministry at Luling Primitive Baptist Church, an outreach effort in Seguin, Texas, and a community outreach through West San Antonio Primitive Baptist Fellowship in West Bexar County, Texas. Rachel has continued home educating their children and has been active in 4-H and the local home school community.
